Tacit Warning is a Seattle rock band. The three members, Matt Wilson, Seth Van Wechel and Gallagher Wilson, all have known each other for a long time. Matt and Gallagher are cousins and all three go to the same church, Green Lake PC, who is also gracious enough to let us use the equipment that makes recording the drums possible. The band was originally formed by Seth and Josh Miller. They recruited Matt to play guitar for them. Things went along slowly at first, and nothing really happened. They also needed a drumer. In November of 2003, Gallagher had just started playing drums, and when Matt asked him to join the band, he willingly excepted. Josh didn't agree with some of the change and left. After this things really started happening. Matt and Gallagher had a few recording sessions, in which they recorded drums for Serve to Remember and Matt really started cranking out guitar tracks. Seth also recorded some bass parts during this time. Gallagher has become the bands chief lyricist, although he doesn't sing any of them. Seth has been giving the singing job mainly because he has the best voice of the three. Matt and Gallagher hope to have a few more recording sessions in the near future, over Spring Break and three day weekends. As more songs and lyrics pour for, the band gets closer to their goal of having enough tracks for a CD, and CD worthy quality by the end of the summer.
Currently, Tacit Warning is working on getting enough tracks out for a CD, hopefully to be finished by the end of summer. They are also designing artwork
for the CD cover and band logos. If you want to help with this, please email the band. We have also just put out
our pre-release promotional preview that is availible for purchase here, along with other Tacit Warning gear.
